Japan again rocked by severe earthquakes, an earthquake measuring 6.7 Richter scale struck the eastern Sea of Japan (06/23/2011). The quake occurred at a depth of 32 kilometers.
The Japanese government immediately issued a tsunami warning for its citizens. Not yet known damage caused by earthquake. The Japanese government has evacuated about 8,000 people around the epicenter. The government also suspended electric train service.
Previously on 11 March, Japan was hit by an earthquake measuring 9.0 Richter scale, which followed the tsunami, killing 23,000 people.
