Shakira Prepare ‘scent-sual’ New Fragrance

Shakira is preparing her ‘scent-sual’ new fragrance, S by Shakira Eau Florale which will inspire different feelings in the people who smell it.

The She Wolf singer has worked with her perfumer to make a scent which inspires different feelings in the people who smell it, and she was surprised at how closely related designing the scent was to song writing.

She said, “After working on my debut scent, S by Shakira, I became interested in the possibilities of expressing emotions through scents. It’s similar to the process you go through when writing a melody: certain chord combinations inspire different feelings in the listener. I wanted to find a way of expressing the feeling of pure happiness through the medium of fragrance.”

The fragrance — the second by the Columbian-born star — is described as ‘uplifting’ and combines jasmine and heliotrope flower with fresh notes of bergamot and cassis, sweet wild fruits, musk and vanilla. [Source: allvoices.com]
