2011 be a golden year for Adele. Recently the singer of "Set Fire To The Rain" was awarded the title as the artist of the Billboard Top sellers in 2011. Adele also broke the record for being the first female singer who was named Top Artists version of this music site. All were obtained thanks to Adele album "21" (2011) and the single "Rolling In The Deep" a huge success in 2011.
23-year-old singer managed to beat the world's top singers such as Rihanna, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. In addition to all of them, names like Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Bruno Mars also entered the top ten of the Top 10.
"His success is very inspiring because it shows there is still room in the music industry for an artist who wants to make his dream come true, genuine talent," said Tye Comer, an editor of Billboard. "Not just a great stage costumes or expensive video, but the golden voice combined with great songs have the power to reap millions of ears of listeners and keep them interested."
On Billboard, the single "Rolling In The Deep" managed to beat the song "Party Rock Anthem" LMFAO's, "Fireworks" and "ET" Katy Perry and "Give Me Everything" by Pitbull. Adele recently underwent vocal cord surgery gratified by the achievements claimed accomplishments.
"I think one thing that made me different from other artists who have the same success as me is life is not affected by the media," said Adele. "I'm very close, but I'm also very honest."
