RIM has replaced the brand BBX operating system for smartphones and tablets into the BlackBerry 10. This was disclosed in the RIM DevCon conference at Suntec Convention Centr Asia, Singapore, Wednesday (12/07/2011).
According to George Staikos, Web Technology VP of RIM, the BlackBerry 10 has substantially changed from previous versions. "There are three things that load the operating system is attractive, integrated services platform, native HTML5 and various cloud based services," said George.
The operating system is also strengthened by a variety of basic applications that is open source so hopefully will be many interesting applications that were created for BlackBerry 10. "Since 1999 we've revolutionized on how to receive emails and the latest operating system will further provide an interesting experience in mobile media social," said George.
The name change becomes the BlackBerry BBX 10 is related to the decision of the trial court issued the United States recently. Since October last, RIM is facing cases of copyright infringement and trademark use BBX who claimed to belong to the International Database software company.
