Derrick Caracter was Arrested

New Orleans Police Department arrested the Los Angeles Lakers player, Derrick Caracter.

Police said Derrick Caracter was arrested on Sunday (04/24/2011). Caracter had to put in custody on charges of public drunkenness and assault of a female cashier who was pregnant.

Caracter was later released, following a security deposit of USD1000. Lakers spokesman John Black said the team is currently seeking the truth in the case. But the Lakers refused to give a statement and Caracter is back training at the training complex in El Segundo, California.
