Los Angeles - John Lennon's handwritten lyrics, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" ready to be auctioned, in the latest episode of the classic Beatles song.
Profiles in History auction house on Wednesday (4/13/2011), states expect lyric sheets will be sold at a price more than $ 200,000 in sales in May, Beverly Hills.
Lyrics of the song was released in 1967 album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. John said he just did not realize it when the title of the lyrics that contain the letters in sequence.
As John Lennon and other members of the Beatles has explained that his inspiration came from his son Julian who was still small and create images classmate, Lucy. Julian Lennon is said to have shown the picture to his dad and told him, "It's Lucy in the sky with diamonds." A British woman, Lucy Vodden, that her maiden name was O'Donnell, in 2007 revealed he had become the source of the song. Lucy died in 2009.
