Augusta, Georgia - Rory McIlroy (Ireland young golfer) has a great opportunity topped the world rankings for his performance on the first day of Masters Golf Tournament 2011, Thursday (07/04/2011). Together Alvaro Quiros (Spanish golfer), McIlroy share numbers in the top of the standings with the results of 7-under (65 strokes) in the tournament that was held in Augusta.
"I hit it very well. At the moment I can do, there will be many opportunities to make birdies blow," said McIlroy.
Yang Yong-eun (South Korea), ranked second with 67 strokes result, share with KJ Choi. Below them, two U.S. golfer, Matt Kuchar and Ricky Barnes (68 strokes). Phil Mickelson with the results of 2-Under (70 strokes).
Tiger Woods with a 1-under. Woods showed fight hard. However, blow birdies on holes 13 and 14 is not enough.
Woods' appearance is different from McIlroy who scored three birdies in four holes first.
