Syria Protests: Six Killed

Witnesses said the protests occurred in many cities despite Syrian troops have been deployed in large numbers.

Six people were killed - five on one in Hama and Homs - detained a prominent dissident, (05/06/2011).

"Five bodies were taken in the area of ​​Bab al-Sibaa [Homs]. Many protesters were injured," said one activist.
