Ukraine - Scientists from the Institute of Cell Biology Lvov, find microorganisms that break down cancer cells, Xinhua reported on Thursday (4/14/2011).

"So far we have studied microorganisms called Argenina. We finally had to conclude that Argenina have the ability to fight cancer cells," said Andrew Sibirny, Institute of Cell Biology Director, Lvov.

"Now we develop a methodology for introducing these organisms into sick cells. We have several projects on the study of cellular organisms," he said.

Scientists remained silent and did not want to announce the new technology. They promised to translate it to the public soon after getting practical results.
