Champions League - Wayne Rooney suffered minor injuries so miss Manchester United's training. Fresh air defense received following the return of a number of defenders.

Rooney did not follow the practice of MU reported on Tuesday (04/05/2011), because of bruising at the foot of the front.

Yet Rooney's injury is not too severe and most likely to appear in the first leg quarterfinals cons Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Thursday (04/07/2011).

"He missed the game this morning, when he underwent treatment. Leg front suffered severe bruising, but we hope he'll be fine," said Sir Alex Ferguson.

Meanwhile, good news came from the back line. Some of the injured players returned to practice, including Rio Ferdinand.

"Evans is ready to play for tomorrow. He had not play, weekend after receiving a red card. Ferdinand has been training this week but if she's ready or not, I'm not sure."

"Rafael Da Silva is also ready, he's been training since a week after a hamstring injury and O'Shea, Brown returned to training so the situation is getting better. All well tomorrow," Ferguson closed.
