Japan Earthquake, Back with 7.1 Richter

Washington - An earthquake measuring 7.1 Richter scale shook Tokyo and northeastern region of Japan, according to a report the United Stated Geological Survey (USGS) said on Monday.

USGS said the quake was very shallow with the epicenter located 22 kilometers southwest of Iwaki, prefecture located in southern Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant.

The Pacific Tsunami Center said the quake did not trigger a tsunami, but there is still a small tsunami potential.
