Tornado in Tuscaloosa - Victims increases, due to a tornado hit Alabama. 128 people killed and several other facilities in several states were also destroyed. Like Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Spoken local officials on Thursday (4/28/2011). "Alabama Emergency Management Agency has confirmed 128 deaths, and other facilities in Alabama since the tornado winds and severe weather yesterday," the agency said.

Institute announced the death toll likely to rise. Latest announcement brings the death toll from the storm - which triggered a tornado that destroyed dozens of buildings and overturned vehicles.

Barack Obama establish Alabama as a disaster emergency area. Obama has spoken to Robert Bentley (Governor of Alabama) and approved the request for federal emergency assistance, including search and rescue assets.

Some 1,400 National Guard troops were deployed. "Our hearts go to all those who have been affected by this damage, and we applaud the heroic efforts of those working tirelessly to respond to this disaster," Obama said.
