University of Connecticut, the NCAA Championship winner for 2011th Connecticut beat Butler 53-41 last night at Reliant Stadium in Houston, outscoring the Bulldogs 34-19 in the second half. Butler was held to 19 percent shooting hitting 12 of 64 shots. The Bulldogs made only three 2 - point baskets.

It seems the team surprised almost everyone except the fans, especially the thousands who are gathered here this evening at Gampel Pavilion, the team with his heart in his hand on the field at Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX Clock.

Behind at the half the Huskies dominated almost all of the last 20 minutes and finally defeated the Butler Bulldogs by 12 points, 53 to 41
