Shannon Tweed and her family adopted a dog from the Saskatoon SPCA and made a donation to the organization.

Bella, a dachshund blend, will be staying in Saskatoon with Shannon’s sister, Sara. Tweed, who lived in Saskatoon after moving here at the age of 10, also made an undisclosed donation to the Saskatoon SPCA after a tour of the facility on July 8.

In turn, the SPCA named a litter of kittens after Tweed’s family. People can now adopt Gene, Shannon, Nick, Sophie, Tracy, Tweed and Snippy.
