iPad 3 More Thick

Apple is rumored to be making new tablet, the iPad 3, is thicker than its predecessor. iPad 3 about 0.7 mm thicker than the iPad 2. However, the thickness of 8.8 mm is still much thinner than the first generation iPad.

This change to accommodate the dual lighting system (twin light bar) at high resolution screen for the iPad 3. The third-generation tablet is rumored to be using a resolution of 2048 x 1536, twice that of the iPad 2.

To that end, Apple will require increasing the backlighting system. According to a source, Metro Online, it will put an additional lighting bars in the new tablet.

The device is expected to release in March 2012. Previously, the possibility iPad3 will be exhibited to the public in January 2012, depending on the condition.
