The success of Drake's last album, "Take Care", which sold nearly 700 thousand copies in its first week sales, making management colleagues at Young Money, Nicki Minaj, be tempted to immediately release a new album earlier than originally scheduled. The news was delivered directly by the CEO and founder of Cash Money, Brian "Birdman" Williams, some time ago.
To Billboard, Birdman said if Nicki is still pocketing an album that wanted to release a second album in early 2012. Album "Pink Friday" which was released in November last year recently ordained as Album Rap / Hip-Hop awards in the Best American Music Awards 2011 which took place 20 November.
"Nicki is now already started recording in the studio, so we probably will release her new album in the first quarter of next year," says Birdman. "We're still thinking about it, but he had entered the studio. We will look for the exact schedule because he was ready and we are also ready to go with him."
When asked to comment on the success of the album Drake, Birdman says the rapper reliable if it is exerting its best effort to make the album worthy of being number one. By this time he was filming his latest music video, "The Motto", with Lil Wayne.
